Finding the right person to officiate your wedding is of special consideration. I strongly believe in the very personal business of taking the time to work with you and help navigate what can be the rather daunting process of arranging your ceremony. But it is YOUR wedding and there are no rules! I'd be happy to make it exactly what you'd like.
Details to help you decide:
Details to help you decide:
- There are so many aspects in planning a wedding. I focus on the ceremony and want that part of your day to be stress-free.
- We can talk or email ahead of time. Once you decide you'd like me to officiate, then I'd like to meet both of you prior to the wedding to plan the details and make it personal.
- There are many choices for vows, and readings and the ring exchange. I can send you samples, or you may create your own words
- Planning to elope? That's cool. It can be quite simple. My schedule is open and flexible.
- I have lived my entire adult life in New Hampshire, but I grew up in Massachusetts and have a wicked Boston accent.
- I love weddings. I tend to be relaxed and informal.
- I have officiated more than 350 weddings. Every single one is unique and special and offers feedback to me for future ceremonies.
- Music is a great addition to the ceremony. But unfortunately I can not help you with that aspect.
- Thanks for the thought, but I do not stay for the reception or rehearsal dinner.
- Sometimes I cry at weddings.
- The fee for the wedding is $300.00. If a rehearsal, an additional $50.00. If more than 20 miles from my home, I charge an additional rate for mileage.
- Just the two of you eloping? Last minute, brief - my fee is $150.00.
- I have never missed a wedding, but just in case something dreadful happens and I can't make it, I would consider it my responsibility to find a replacement. I've got some great dependable back-up as a member of the JPUS (Justice of the Peace Organization) and New Hampshire Justice of the Peace Association (NHJPA)
- Most couples looking for a JP do not want a religious or spiritually-centered ceremony, but I'm comfortable with prayers, blessings, Bible readings, etc. if you'd like that incorporated into yours.
